Founded in 1984, Aegis Sales & Service is a proudly family‑owned and operated business with more than three decades of industry experience. Based in Brisbane and servicing customers nationwide, the company specialises in safety products, technical services, and maintenance solutions. Over the years, Aegis has continued to evolve, expanding its capabilities to meet changing customer needs and maintain a strong competitive edge. Our team of dedicated sales professionals and skilled technicians is committed to delivering expert advice and high‑quality service across our entire product and service range.
In 2004, Aegis established Techinspect as a specialised division focused on gas detection and instrumentation. As demand grew, Techinspect was reintegrated into Aegis in 2010, enabling both operations to work seamlessly together. Continued growth led to the company’s relocation to a larger facility on Delta Street, Geebung, in 2012.
In 2014, Aegis expanded further with the launch of the Breathalyser Shop, offering specialised breathalyser equipment and maintenance services. The following year, the company transitioned from Aegis Safety to Aegis Sales & Service, reflecting the broader scope of products and services offered to customers.
In mid‑2017, Aegis Safety Pty Ltd acquired Procon Instrument Technology, strengthening its capabilities in process instrumentation. In 2020, Aegis proudly celebrated 20 years of Master Builders membership and 10 years as a Master Electricians member, achieving Silver Member status.
In July 2021, Aegis Sales & Service further enhanced its technical offering by introducing NATA‑accredited calibration services for digital temperature measuring systems.

Community Value
Aegis Sales & Service is deeply committed to supporting the local community and contributing to meaningful charitable initiatives. We believe in taking an active role in driving positive change and strengthening the communities that support our business.
Each year, we provide assistance to a range of organisations, including Asthma Australia, Variety – the Children’s Charity, the Royal Children’s Hospital Christmas Appeal, local sporting teams, and various community events. In 2016, we proudly hosted our first Cupcake Day in support of the RSPCA.
We also encourage and sponsor employees who participate in charity events, reinforcing our culture of community involvement and social responsibility. Aegis Sales & Service remains dedicated to being a supportive neighbour and a responsible corporate citizen, continually striving to make a positive impact.
Environmental Commitment
With the ever growing environmental concerns of the community, Aegis Sales & Service has stepped up to do its part in staying green. We have a number of systems in place to reduce unnecessary waste and increase recycling.
Through out the office we are largely digitally based, recycling all paper goods, cardboard and printer cartridges. Installing power saving lighting through out the work spaces and also utilising e-waste drop off centres for any computer/electrical goods are all part of our environmental responsibility plans. In the warehouse we recycle our scrap metal, aluminium, gas bottles and batteries reducing harmful waste in the environment. While in the field we are environmentally conscious about the vehicles we drive, to reduce carbon emissions, and look to leave no trace when leaving the site.
We also support local school recycling relief efforts by providing resources to help students reach recycling school goals. Aegis Sales & Service upholds an environmentally responsible mindset, making a conscious move to become a greener workplace.
