Anchor Points

Aegis Sales & Service install, certify, and service a range of anchors to suit many applications, in accordance with AS/NZS 1891, AS4488, AS/NZS 5532, and WPHS Legislation.  Our specialist team can design a system to meet your requirements whether for roof safety, industrial rope access, or any other working-at-height access requirements. 

Types of anchor points include: Surface Mount Anchors, Purlin Mount Anchors, Steel, Timber-truss Mount Anchors & Concrete-mount Anchors

Static-lines

Static lines are cable-based access safety systems designed for continuous connection to an anchorage.  Static lines allow for ease of operation, and subsequently require a lower level of operator training than anchor-based systems.  Aegis can provide static-line systems for overhead, roof-mount, concrete mount, and single-span systems to suit many applications. 

Static-line systems must be inspected by a Competent Height Safety Specialist at least once every 12 months.

Rail Systems

Rail systems are designed for fall arrest and rope access. The rail is a ridged system in either aluminum or stainless steel and typically offers less deflection than cable-based systems allowing better control of fall distances.

Applications include Window cleaning, Factory maintenance, Vehicle maintenance etc...

Edge Protection - Walkway, Guardrail (Handrails) & Platforms

Walkways, Guardrails (Handrails) & Platforms offer a higher level of protection when regular access is required. Our guardrail systems are lightweight, modular, and built onsite to suit the application. The guardrails can be fitted to most roofs, concrete, steel, and other types of substrates. We are also able to offer the Latchways by MSA freestanding handrail for areas where penetrating the roof surface is not an option.

Walkways are either expanded aluminum or composite fibre and provide a clear designation of the path of travel whilst protecting the roof and worker

Platforms that offer access to suspended areas that are fabricated to suit the scenario. Fabricated in aluminum to reduce weight to the supporting structure whilst providing the highest level of protection.   

Rung-Ladders, Step-Ladders, and Stairs

Aegis Safety offers a range of Aluminium ladders and stairs to AS/NZS 1657. Our ladders can either be installed with a cage or vertical fall prevention system as the situation requires.

Stairs and step ladders are designed and manufactured in our workshop to the highest standards by our qualified boilermakers.

Roof hatches and Ceiling Ladders

Our range of roof hatches and ceiling ladders offer access to the roof from an internal area. This could be from a plant room or through a ceiling space offering safe and secure access to the roof.
