Aegis Sales & Service carries out all inspections on Height Safety Equipment as per Australian Standard AS1891.4.2009, the manufacturer's instructions, and/or the Workplace Health and Safety Act.

Harness inspections are conducted to ensure that all components of a harness, such as straps, buckles, and other hardware, are in good working order and free from defects. During an inspection, the harness should be checked for signs of wear and tear, fraying, and other damage. Any harness that appears to be damaged or shows signs of excessive wear should be retired and replaced with a new one.

Harness inspection involves examining the wiring harness for any signs of damage, wear, or corrosion. This includes looking for frayed wires, broken connectors, or any other signs of wear that could potentially cause a short circuit or other electrical problems. Additionally, harness inspection should also include checking for proper routing, ensuring all wires are properly secured and connected, and ensuring that all components are functioning properly.
